Dr. Anand is currently working as an instructor of medicine and is the Nephrology Elective Director at Stanford University. She had completed a 2-year F32 fellowship on physical activity in the dialysis population. She was interested in chronic disease management in a global health context, particularly looking at modifiable risk factors. In India she worked with the Center for Chronic Disease Control and attempt to survey dialysis practices in the burgeoning dialysis units in New Delhi. Her efforts will be helped by investigators at the Dialysis Outcomes Practice Patterns Study.
