Site Description:
Professor Kirk Smith has been collaborating with IIT Delhi for over 15 years, including research on household energy and health, air pollution, climate, and policy. Recent publications with Prof. Ambuj Sagar (IIT-D primary mentor) highlight the critical and timely nature of their global health research:

Professor Smith, together with Dr. Sagar and other colleagues have recently established the Collaborative Clean Air Policy Centre, in Delhi, which creates an ideal opportunity for both U.S. and Indian postdoctoral researchers to engage in global health research affecting the approximate 700 million Indians relying on biomass for household fuel and the additional hundreds of millions affected by outdoor air pollution and climate change.
