Research Interest: TB epidemiological studies in infants and adolescents for TB vaccine trials
Dr. Nduba is Senior Research Officer at CDRD, Kenya Medical Research Institute. He was a principal investor of a double-blind, randomised, placebo-controlled, dose-finding trial of the novel tuberculosis vaccine AERAS-402) in infants, of which Kenya was one of 4 countries participating in this trial. He has been at KEMRI/CDC for 12 years where his work at the TB Research Branch includes developing tuberculosis epidemiological capacity to conduct phase II and III TB vaccine trials in adolescents and infants, diagnostics for infant TB, and epidemiology of TB in adolescents.
